The fifth edition of Engimono Department Store’s super popular Pop Up Shop will open it’s doors!
Engimono Department Store brings you Mao Mao Uamou, The Lucky Uamou series and the ever so cute Mamamou amongst many other specialty items and good luck charms by a wide variety of talented creators. Due to it’s wild popularity it has been decided that the special pop up store will be held once a month in different locations, the first of which will be located at Kanda Myojin, one of on August 27th (sat)!
Kanda myojin, or Kanda Shrine, was an important shrine to both the warrior class and citizens of Japan, especially during the Edo period, when shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu paid his respects at Kanda Shrine. The three major kami enshrined are Daikokuten, Ebisu, and Taira no Masakado. As Daikokuten and Ebisu both belong to the Seven Gods of Fortune, Kanda Shrine is a popular place for businessmen and entrepreneurs to pray for wealth and prosperity.
Remember, the Uamou x Engimono items are exclusive to Engimono Department Store’s Pop Up Shop so what better way to visit this popular Tokyo Shrine while shopping for lucky charms?
