PINK FELT BADGE EXLUSIVE FOR AUTUMN MONOMACHI 2014
This weekend more than 45 artisanal shops and factories will open their doors for the sixth edition of MONOMACHI CITY WALK, a three-day festival celebrating Taito-Ku’s artisans and master craftsmen. This year the theme of MONOMACHI is “Decorate your own Bag!” and many participating stores have created a selection of specialty bag decorations which will only be available during the event.
Of course Studio Uamou is participating as well. Starting friday you can decorate your bag with Pink Felt Tip Badges hand made by Ayako Takagi featuring the many characters of the UAMOU Universe.
You can join the fun by downloading an english map for MONOMACHI 2014 or you can pick up a guide and a map at our store or any other participating venue in Taito-Ku.

「モノマチ」とは
2011年から始まった「モノマチ」は、古くから製造／卸の集積地としての歴史をもつ台東区南部・徒蔵（カチクラ）エリア（御徒町～蔵前～浅草橋にかけての２km四方の地域）を歩きながら、「街」と「ものづくり」の魅力に触れていただく３日間のイベントです。
今年は200組を上回るモノづくり系企業やショップ、職人、クリエイター、飲食店が参加中！！
子供たちが「モノづくりのマチ」に誇りを持てるように、世界から「モノづくりのマチ」として認められるように、
台東区南部のブランド価値を高める活動をします！
モノづくりを通して新たな地域コミュニティを創出し、カチクラ地域で働く人、住む人、この地域が好きな人、みんなで一緒に盛り上げていきましょう！
