After an amazing opening, selling the first 2 batches within an instant, the “Uamou to Tengu to” Exhibition is well underway! After having announced an additional 3rd batch of Tengu Mask Uamou and an online sale to be held as soon as the exhibition is over, we would like to give a closer look at the Fukumen Tengu Uamou and the illustrated works by Tengu Arts that are on display this week as well.

Fukumen Tengu Uamou is released in very limited edition and wears a hand-made burlap mask to hide its face, even though the long nose is still pretty much obvious. The masks are available in Red, White and Black and are actually the true limited edition series of the exhibition, since a new batch would be impossible to complete before the exhibition is over.

A small series of Tengu Art’s original character art featuring Uamou is available for sale as well. Uamou is depicted in various roles as a Tengu, wether it be representations of Tengu as a Warlord, a Mountain Deity or a representation of the character as seen in Japanese Noh theatre, they are all quite exquisite and worth a look if you happen to be in the area.
