← DCON 2017: SPECIAL ISSUE VOL.3!!! Here comes Dcon 2017 Special Issue vol.3, the last post showing exclusive items available at our booth! Minoru Takagi (Papamou) dedicated himself to produce “Masked Uamou (Cat ver.)” and “Masked Real Uamou(Cat ver.)”. It was at the exhibition Morinekoken in June that Cat Mask series first appeared, he carried them one step further! For instance he plated some of the masks and the shape of their ears has changed to make them look closer to real cats’ ones. Not only Real Uamou, we’ve made some collaborative products with Real×Head. We bring “Dosukoi Uamou (GID)”, two heads tall Uamou which is disguised as sumo wrestler and “Fortune Cat Baby (Pink GID×UAMOU ver.)” the one-eyed beckoning cat with a Koban (oval coin) which has Uamou printed on it. Now you realized where the Moonya’s face came from! *We’d like to note that the Pink GID series lights up to yellow unlike the regular GID series.) Designer Con is an annual art and design convention that smashes together collectible toys and designer goods with urban, underground and pop art! Held at the Pasadena Convention Center, DCon is over 70,000 sq. ft. and features over 300 vendors, art & custom shows, live demonstrations, and much more!
