SPECIAL EXHIBITION IN BEAMS SHINJUKU! When we decided to publish a picture book of UAMOU, we started to plan some events that enable you to jump in to the world of it. Following to Café UAMOU as a starter, we proudly announce that UAMOU will takeover the corner of BEAMS JAPAN in Shinjuku and hold an exhibition! During this 10-days exhibition, there will be roughly 3 types of figures. First, the one-of-a-kind “Ehon Uamou” collection that Ayako Takagi reconstructs the contents of the picture book using BIG Uamou and Classic Uamou as a canvas. Next, the venue-limited product “Mys-tree-ous Uamou” that seems to have just popped out from the forest drawn in the book. Last, the pre-sale item (*) “Mysterious Planet” Uamou and his friends with the color-way of the planet where Uamou made an emergency landing in the story. Please come to see the various expressions we tried on figures using picture books as a theme. * “Classic Uamou and Uamou Friends in “Mysterious Planet”are scheduled to be sold at UAMOU ONLINE SHOP at a later date, but Uamou with 4 different facial expressions (Happy, Dazed, Ouch, Sad) are limited to the venue. In addition to them, you can also place orders for high-definition reproduction original paintings of scenes selected from the picture book and you can even take a Purikura with Uamou! Last but not least, we will hold the first signing event of Ayako Takagi in Japan on October 20th. Please check here for how to participate the autograph session.
