No visit to DCON could be complete without a special colour way by Master Goto! We will be bringing an amazing series clear gradient sofubi painted in contrasting hues by the master himself. Classic Uamou, Fortune Uamou, Real Uamou and a limited edition of Masked Real Uamou featuring masks by Minoru Takagi will be available at our booth during the convention! With four editions of this fantastic colour way there will be so much to look for! Designer Con is an annual art and design convention that smashes together collectible toys and designer goods with urban, underground and pop art! Held at the Pasadena Convention Center, DCon is over 70,000 sq. ft. and features over 300 vendors, art & custom shows, live demonstrations, and much more! So come on down and make sure to say hello to us at booth number 1004!
WEGO X UAMOU CUSTOM BY AYAKO TAKAGI Who hasn’t heard of MechatroWeGo? If you haven’t, it is just the most adorable and convenient multi-purpose bipedal vehicle to have ever appeared on the consumer market! During DCON 2016, a mini exhibition featuring customised MechatroWeGo will be held at the Designer Con Gallery Space. Among the many artists participating Ayako Takagi has customised a 1/12 scale MechatroWeGo as well. Hand-painted in Takagi’s signature black and white decorations, the WeGo is piloted by a little Uamou. We are sorry, this is just too much! We desperately want one in our studio as well but unfortunately these customised WeGo are not for sale, the good news is that the mini exhibition is scheduled to travel many toy fairs around the world so please come and have a look whenever the mini exhibition will be arriving close to you!
