Azuki Beans, mostly known as a sweet ingredient in East Asian Cuisine, are extremely popular in Japan. Wether it be the sweet bean paste (Anko) you find in Dorayaki, Sekihan or even Ice-cream you are sure to find sweetened Azuki beans in many dishes and sweets.
We love Azuki Beans for their sweet taste and its high nutritional value but mostly for its deep Red Brown Colour.
