Clutter Gallery will be opening a new show names “Nihon Sei” or “Made in Japan” which will highlight the diversity and quality of Japanese born/based artists. Studio Uamou will be participating as well along other artists such as Leo Sofvi Bouya, Rampage Toys, Restore and Kenth Toy Works.

 

KUSETSU UAMOU

Kusetsu (or ‘Refraction’) Uamou is a small limited edition run hand-painted by Ayako Takagi. These clear-type Uamou are decorated with colourful triangular shapes which are slightly distorted depending on the angle you look at them.

 

“Made in Japan” opens on November 14th (part of Beacon’s Second Saturday art walk) and the show runs until Friday, December 4th, 2015. All pieces made for this will be available for sale at Clutter Gallery in downtown Beacon and on their online-shop at shop.cluttermagazine.com.
