Studio Uamou has been looking towards the medium of animation for a long time and since 2013 Ayako Takagi and Niko Lanzuisi have had continuous talks about how to adapt Uamou for the screen. It is still too early to announce any kind of serious production but we have actively been testing out some ideas.
Niko Lanzuisi is currently working on a short animation in collaboration with Takagi Ayako.The animation will be screened at the “SOGNI STRANI” exhibition at the VOILLD gallery in Meguro.
“SOGNI STRANI” is an exciting new exhibition by STUDIO UAMOU where we take a journey into strange dreams. Besides the screening of STUDIO UAMOU’s first animation, Ayako Takagi will expose a body of complete new works including a series of paintings and a limited run of customised Uamou figures.
