The event space at 2k540 is an interesting area where one can attend different workshops held by artisans from all over the country. This weekend we are honoured with a tin casting workshop held by craftsmen collective SUZU from Takaoka. Tin casting you say? Yes! the perfect chance for us to bring over a some Uamou figures and cast ourselves a couple of T-1000 Uamou!

Using red oil sands you can create a perfect temporary mould of whatever object you want to cast, even though it took us a couple of tries before we had a perfect uamou we are very amazed by the tin cast copies. We shall upload some pictures of our tin Uamou later this week for you to enjoy, in the meantime head down to 2k540 today to try the process of tin casting yourself!

高岡伝統産業青年会による鋳物体験にて”鋳UAMOU”

 

2k540のイベントスペースにて9月13日、14日の二日間、高岡伝統産業青年会のみなさんによる鋳物体験のワークショップが開催中。

今回特別に”鋳UAMOU”を作らせていただきました！！300℃に熱した鋳の液状化したシルバーの輝きと質感はまるでターミネーターのT-1000のようで美しいUAMOUが完成しました！！
