August will start off with the opening of “The Mysterious World of Yokai and Monsters” exhibition held at Hanshin Umeda in Osaka. Studio Uamou will participate in the ghastly exhibition which will display the eerie works of over 50 artists.
Even in this modern age there are still plenty of mysterious and unexplainable phenomena in this world. Both the Yokai of old and the pop-culture Monsters celebrated on Halloween have continued to appeal to kids and adults alike.
At the exhibition we will be celebrating all monsters, creatures, yokai and other inhabitants of the night. Besides the creations of over 50 artists to be exhibited there will also be a Kitaro Shop with an abundance of “Gegege Kitaro Goods”.
Studio Uamou will be releasing an exclusive run of Big Mummy Uamou, Mummy Uamou and Mummy Boo sofubi sets during the exhibition which will also see the return of the Monster Uamou series in a bright new colour-way!
In Japan, summer is a time to get together and enjoy ghost stories. What better way to start the hot season then by exploring the many chilling creations at “The Mysterious World of Yokai and Monsters” exhibition.

阪神梅田本店にて開催の「妖怪・モンスターなど 不可思議な世界展」に、
UAMOUも出展いたします！
世の中には不可思議なものや現象が存在するのだそう。
子どもから大人まで数年前から人気の妖怪や、
ハロウィンのコスプレでも人気を集め若者の間でブームになっているモンスター。
会場では「ゲゲゲの鬼太郎」グッズの鬼太郎商店や、
妖怪やモンスターなどをモチーフに約50人の作家が独自の世界観で表現するアート作品や
各種グッズなどを展示・販売！夏真っ只中のこの時期に、不可思議な空気をお楽しみください！
UAMOUからは会場限定の「モンスターウアモウのソフビ」や、
先行販売の「ビッグミイラウアモウ」「ミイラウアモウとミイラおばけちゃん」
