From Uamou’s home planet U, the primitive tribe “Vamou” came to our planet aboard a capsule! ”

Studio Uamou was asked to participate in the fourth series of Medicom Toy’s Vinyl Artist Gacha series. For the Capsule series we have released Vamou, a primitive tribe close to Uamou. Even though their ears look the same! Vamou can not use telepathy nor are they particularly smart, instead they have to rely on their brute strength an loud voice!

Designed by Studio Uamou and produced in collaboration with Medicom Toy and Prestage, Vamou was released in 5 colours and stands 6cm tall. VAG Capsule Toy Dispensers containing VAMOU were available across Japan during Summer/fall 2015.

On december 13th there was a special 1st year anniversary celebration of the Vinyl Artist Gacha Series. The celebration was held at Gallery & Shop “Bookmark” in Asakusabashi and a series of hand illustrated Vamou by Ayako Takagi were made available during the event.
