During a night of sleep, one usually experiences about four or five periods of REM sleep; they are quite short at the beginning of the night and longer toward the end. Humans experience their most vivid dreams towards the end of the sleep cycle and thus our journey brings us to Sogno Bastard.
This limited run of clear-type Bastards features brightly contrasting colours that have been painted from the inside by Ayako Takagi. Ranging from dark nightmarish hues with bright accents to soft pastel coloured designs it is no surprise that these are among the most favourite items of the exhibition.
But not as much as the small run of Mask Bastards. The collaboration between daughter and father returns! Minoru Takagi created a limited set copper masks that are made to snap onto black Bastard figures. These masks are carefully handmade and hammered in to shape, featuring the exhibition themed triangle design each piece is truly unique.

ソニィストラニ：ソニョバスタード＆マスクバスタード
「ソニョバスタード」カラフルで色彩鮮やかな彩色は夢の中の色の渦。ペインティング作品の白黒の夢と対象的に表現しています。「マスクバスタード」のお面は高木実（パパモウ）により制作。銅板を叩いて作られたマスクはバスタードの顔の形状に合わせて制作されているため、接着無しで何度でも脱着可能です。タガネによる彫りで今回の展覧会のメインキャラクター”三角ロボット”が表現されています。職人ならではの作品が完成しました。
高木実はUAMOUの目入れ、キーホルダーやストラップの金具制作、UAMOUジュエリーラインの制作など多くのUAMOU作品の制作に携わっています。
